You would expect someone with the name Dangerfield to be the type of person who would find all the action; do all the stunts; or put himself in harms way just to feel alive. But, that's not always the case. Rick however, is one of the rare few who actually do live up to that expectation. He's not afraid of anything. He'll interrupt a conversation between two Italian mobsters if it means finding out where to go for the best meatball sub. He'll run into a burning building if only to jump out of a window and land in a dumpster. He'll sky-dive out of a real plane even though he has no guarantee of his parachute opening. It's this bravery—or stupidity depending on how you look at it—that makes him the perfect freelance investigative reporter. No matter where he goes, we always know he'll come back with a story—because the story follows him.
