PACI-133 E stands for Partially Autonomous Computer Intelligence, version 133, the fifth edition. Somehow we got the nickname EZZIE from that. He/she is in cahoots with Management to ensure that the place doesn’t fall into chaos. On him/her’s free time s/he is an Artificial Author, meaning he/she is essentially a computer that writes books. The books s/he writes are particularly strange, and difficult to understand. Sorry for all the mixed pronouns… but how else are you supposed to refer to a genderless computer intelligence when the English language has yet to invent a solid non-binary pronoun. Maybe we’ll set EZZIE on inventing one… s/he’s great at making up words. Plus! S/he’s a quantum program… So… Non-binary is practically him/her’s middle name.
