ROOMS

VISIT ANYTIME!

These rooms are open 24/7. You can visit them whenever you want! In fact they may even be more lively in the wee hours of the night because that’s when all the magik happens. Just be sure to knock before you enter. These people love talking about their work, and they love a good audience, but heaven forbid you interrupt them while they’re working!

On Level 5 we have four different theaters for you to choose from. The first is an immersive reality theater, which you see here, wherein you can watch a movie from any characters point of view in VR. Which sounds simple enough at first, but if you think about it, most characters in a movie aren’t on screen all the time, so to keep the viewer from experiencing a loss in continuity, artificial intelligence has been employed in creating seamless chronological scenes for you to live out, as the character, until your character is back on screen. If there is too much of a gap, say your character isn’t seen for many days in the film’s timeline, an abbreviated montage suitable to the character is applied. It’s very different for every movie, but you get the point. Most often these immersive experiences double or triple the runtime of the ‘film’, but you can also customize all these settings to your preference.

The second theater is a Dome, much like the one you’ve probably heard of in Las Vegas, but on a much smaller scale. seeing your favorite movie in nearly 360 degrees is pretty f—kin cool in its own right. There are group domes available, as well as individual domes and some for couples. So you’ve got your choice.

The final two theaters are traditional, but designed to give different eras of experience. One is an early 20th century theater, excellent for watching the classics, and the other is an early 2000’s period imitation, but with better cupholders and comfy seats that recline.

At the east end of the hall, just past the last theater you’ll find Cave Ballad, the official photography department here at The Red Rainbow, run by our constituent Kyle Duffy. His studio in the back is private, so you’d have to book an appointment if you’d like to have some portraits done later, but for now feel free to go in and browse the gallery section.

LATEST Film:

This is an advertisement for The Red Rainbow. It’s the main type of material we’ve been working on recently. We did one actual short film for Level 2, but for the most part as we get up and running here we’re focused on representing the Levels and advertising the place so we can grow our budget. Soon we’ll be able to go fullscreen, if you know what I mean.

It’s not all work up here though. Sometimes it’s just about watching movies. Which, Rollins does the most out of anyone. More than he should maybe. In fact, we’re all a little worried about him. But then again there are worse things to be addicted to. He still finds time to get everything he needs to get done, i.e. managing GreenSleeves, inventing new drinks for The Stache, producing his ad projects, and of course directing Snowy Mountain Pass. So it’s not like it’s a problem anyway. All that matters is he knows his stuff, and he does. When it comes to films, he really knows what he’s talking about. Here, read some of the reviews of what he’s been watching lately and see for yourself:
