WELCOME
TO TALLon’s recording STUDIO
Hmm, I really thought Tallon would’ve been in here. He’s always in here. But maybe he’s going to the Leddstein show tonight. So it would seem you’ve got the place all to yourself. Go ahead, look around. This is where all the bands from the Fourth Floor come to record their stuff. Tallon uses old school methods for recording and mixing. By that I don’t mean analog. He uses computers aplenty. What I mean is he refuses to use AI for mixing, or Robots of any kind in the recording and/or producing process. And we commend him for that. As good as the AI producers are, Tallon says they lack a certain charming imperfection when it comes to music. “The Human Element” he calls it. Although, what he doesn’t realize is that the Human element has been programmed into AI—sooooo, really he just doesn’t want to admit that a Robot could do his job. And hey, who are we to take that away from him. Recording and Producing is what he loves to do. In fact, it looks like he left his computer open, so if you want, go ahead and listen to the track he’s currently working on. I think it’s something new from Esoterrace:
No vocals on it yet I guess, and it seems like its mostly scratch tracks, but… pretty good I guess.

We sometimes call Tallon Babyface... in a nice way okay... And it's only because he looks barely 16 even though he's actually 34 if you can believe it. Good genes I guess. Anyway, Tallon is—or should I say was—one of New Zealand’s finest underground DJ’s in the greater Otago Peninsula. He’s not dead, that’s not why I say was. I say was simply because he doesn’t live there any more, he lives here. He spent his college years honing his skills at a local nightclub in Dunedin that was located on the University campus. That’s right. Their Colleges have nightclubs, but I digress, back to Tallon. Tallon is a craftsman. He produces all of the music we put out at The Red Rainbow. He is good friends with Darcy, if you can believe it, and once spent a year as a “Spit Rat.” Whatever that is…
