WELCOME TO

SAL’s ROOM

As you can see, Sal has an garish sense of interior design. His favorite author is F. Scott Fitzgerald, so that should tell you something. Most of us think his room looks hideous, but… he likes it so who are we to judge.

You know what? It looks like Sal has accidentally left a full glass of Sky Juice (his LSD laced mocktail of choice that The Stache sends up to his room twice a day). That’s very uncharacteristic of him. But, he has been a little out of sorts lately after he was… well… perhaps I shouldn’t say anything. Suffice it to say he’s recently been through a serious ordeal involving a QVR* program gone wrong.

If I’m not mistaken He is currently on the second floor debriefing with Silverton. No doubt they’ll be conducting a lucid dream session to unpack and study what he experienced.

The year was 1984. Van Halen's album had just come out. George Orwell's novel was turning out to be very accurate. Streets of Fire was about to become an underrated 80's movie. And, one other thing happened that was completely irrelevant to all that; Sal was drunkenly conceived by two strangers on vacation in France. Nine months later he was born in the continental United States. New York State to be specific. His mother was a photojournalist who used her talents to rally against the ever occurring nuclear tests. She bought a one-way ticket to the Soviet Union, and as a consequence “never came back" under mysterious circumstances. But Young Sal didn't let her absence stop him from getting older. As he grew he learned that growing up was another word for dying. From thence forth he started dying inside a little bit every day. In his early thirties he “accidentally" cured this inner struggle by ingesting entheogenics at a christams party. His new-found psychedelic induced light-heartedness earned him the nickname “Sunshine Sal”. He has had an insatiable love for psychedelics ever since, and a fascination with the inner workings of the mind. He is co-founder of our establishment, and has worked tirelessly as an explorer of dream worlds via Quantum Virtual Reality technology. He is fluent in French, and usually has his contacts set to LSD-25.
