Where Are The Tigers? is an acoustic duo formed in Chico, CA featuring groundbreaking elements of both vocals AND guitar if you can believe it. Riley Black and Dillon McGillicuddy were inspired to create these late 2000’s indie movie worthy tunes by the many hungover yet pleasantly brisk fall mornings they spent playing chess in a train car coffee shop listening to their own music on separate headphones. Here they are performing live at GreenSleeves here at the Red Rainbow:

Their debut Ep

Recorded over the course of several hours throughout the course of several weekends at a studio, the name of which they don’t remember, but the engineer’s name was Dale and he was a nice guy so they call it Dale’s Place, their debut Ep ‘Winter Passing’ is the prefect mix of acoustic, yet listenable. So feel free to throw on some discreet wireless headphones and listen to this while you pretend to pay attention to the equally acoustic—yet much worse—singer songwriter playing at your local coffee shop.
